Solid drilled thermowells are made from raw purified metal and are suitable for applications involving high pressure or strong flow rates. Fabricated thermowells are constructed from tubes or pipes, sealed at the process end with a welded closure, and are ideal for low-pressure applications.
Threaded thermowells can be manufactured in a wide range of materials, including 316 stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, Inconel® 600, Monel® 400, Hastelloy® C276, Hastelloy® C22, and PTFE.
