Velocity Sensor – 5485C
The Metrix vibration sensor type 5485C is designed for applications exposed to high ambient temperatures, with a maximum of 375°C. The 5485C is intended for gas turbines and other machinery where high temperatures are present and a velocity signal is required. The sensor does not need an external power supply, as it generates a signal proportional to the vibration velocity.
The sensor is available with two different armored cables: a detachable cable (up to 30 meters) and an integral cable (up to 18 meters). The mounting is compatible with standard mounting patterns on many industrial gas turbines. Additionally, the 5485C is ATEX certified and comes with a stainless steel housing.
