Toerental transmitter / Probe driver - Metrix TXR5521

Speed transmitter/ Probe driver – TXR5521

The Model TXR 5521 from Metrix is a 2-wire transmitter that operates on a 24 Vdc power supply. The input signal is generated by an eddy-current proximity probe that detects a keyway or gear teeth on a rotating shaft. The output signal is 4-20 mA, proportional to the shaft speed. This Metrix transmitter is pre-configured during manufacturing according to the user’s order code.

The RPM range extends from 5 to 300,000, and the number of pulses per revolution can be set from 1 to 99. The minimum RPM resolution is a function of the number of pulses per revolution: the number of pulses per revolution multiplied by the maximum RPM must be less than or equal to 300,000.
