Point level monitoring – ProGap

The ProGap from Envea (formerly SWR) is a universal and widely applicable instrument for contactless level detection in silos, bunkers, tanks, pipelines, and other storage areas for dry bulk materials up to 18 meters in diameter.

The ProGap operates by creating a microwave field between the transmitter and receiver of the system. Since there is no contact between the ProGap and the medium, the switch is ideal for aggressive media, high pressures, or extreme temperatures.

  • Very easy installation and implementation
  • Reliable fill-level and limit-level detection
  • Measurements possible through non-conductive walls
  • With process adapter, suitable up to 220°C and 20 bar
  • Up to 1100°C possible with ceramic adapter
  • Completely unaffected by material adhesion
  • Standard range up to 18 meters – longer distances available on request
  • Compact and standard without separate electronics
  • Also available in an S-version, with a shorter housing and separate electronics
  • Suitable for ATEX environments (optional)

Applicability

The ProGap from Envea (formerly SWR) is excellent for detecting levels in silos, bunkers, tanks, and other storage areas of dry bulk materials up to 18 meters in diameter.
