Flow / No Flow detectie – FlowJam Plus

The FlowJam Plus is the successor to the basic FlowJam. It has an additional output that indicates whether the pipeline is full or empty during No Flow. With this extra output, it is possible to determine whether there is a blockage (empty) or a standstill (full).

Differences compared to other FlowJam Models

  • FlowJam
This is the basic version of the FlowJam and is not ATEX certified. This sensor detects flow/no flow.
  • FlowJam S
Unlike the basic FlowJam, the FlowJam S is ATEX certified (zone 21 and 22) because its electronics are housed separately. As a result, the FlowJam S also has a smaller sensor housing. This sensor detects flow/no flow and is available with a 4-20mA output signal for trend purposes.
  • FlowJam Plus
The FlowJam Plus is the successor to the basic FlowJam. In addition to detecting flow/no flow, this sensor provides an extra output signal when no flow is detected, indicating whether the pipeline is full or empty. With optional adapters, the Plus version can also be used in extreme conditions, such as high temperatures, high pressure, and ATEX zones.
  • FlowJam T
This model is specifically designed for measuring the flow of solid materials in hose lines with external diameters between 4 and 25 mm.
