Flowmeting voor droge bulk (high flow) - MaxxFlow

Flowmeting voor droge bulk (high flow) – MaxxFlow

The MaxxFlow is an inline mass flow meter specifically designed for measuring (very) large flows of dry bulk materials during free-fall transport and is suitable for flows starting at 20 tons per hour. Due to its open design and compact form combined with very high throughput capacity, the MaxxFlow can be used in situations where previously only complex mechanical systems, such as weigh hoppers or impact plates, were applicable.

Operation

The MaxxFlow operates based on a high-frequency electromagnetic field. Particles moving through this field reduce the amplitude (absorption), which generates a measurement signal corresponding to the concentration of particles moving through the pipe. The speed of the particles in the pipe is determined using the same principle. With concentration and speed as known values, the flow is calculated using the formula Q = K * v * A, and the result is communicated via a 4-20 mA signal.

Advantages and features

  • Suitable for almost all (non-conductive) solids
  • Ideal replacement for complex and expensive impact or fall plate weighers
  • Mass flow meter for flows starting at 20 tons per hour
  • Maximum pressure: 10 bar, maximum temperature: 120°C
  • Dust resistant
  • No flow interference – no obstructions
  • Extremely wear-resistant with no moving parts
  • Unaffected by flow characteristics
  • Pipe diameter: DN 150, 200, 250
  • Suitable for food environments (optional)
