ENVEA Paddy: scheurdetectie bij zeefmachine / zeefinstallatie / trilzeef

Filtration system monitoring (detection of holes/tears) – Paddy

The Paddy from Envea (formerly SWR) enables monitoring after the filtration system to detect if oversized particles are still present in the process. If such particles are detected, an alert is sent, allowing an operator to intervene quickly, minimizing potential production losses.

Processes with filter installations

In nearly every process involving solid materials, it is crucial that the particles meet the required maximum diameter. For this reason, one or more screening machines are typically used to filter out oversized particles.

However, cracks or holes may develop in the sieve mesh, allowing larger particles to pass through the process. To avoid this, samples are often taken at random to check for oversized particles, which may indicate a damaged sieve filter. This can result in an unusable production batch.

Industrial screening installations

The Paddy can be used with almost any type of industrial screening and filtration system, including:

  • Tumbler sieve
  • Vibrating sieve / Shaking sieve
  • Drum sieve
  • Control sieve

Name

The name Paddy stands for Particle Detection Device. If particles of a certain size are detected after the sieve mesh, it may indicate damage such as a tear or hole. Sieve mesh is also known as sieve deck, screen grid, or screen plate.
