Dust detection – ProSens

The ProSens is specifically developed for performing reliable and fast dust measurements after filters, and is suitable for filter monitoring, trend monitoring, and emission measurements.

The ProSens operates based on the tribo-electric principle. The sensor is placed in a metal duct behind the filter. When particles move past or come into contact with the sensor, a charge change occurs, generating a measurement signal. These signals are converted into a 4-20 mA signal. The ProSens provides fast, reliable, and accurate dust measurement with minimal maintenance. The system is also available in an ATEX version.

Applicability

The ProSens is particularly suited for filter monitoring (filter breakthrough), trend monitoring, and emission measurements, but has numerous other applications. For less extensive dust measurements, check out the Dusty from Envea (formerly SWR).
