The digital DE44 dual-channel pressure transmitter from Fischer features two built-in pressure sensors. Its dual channels allow for double limit detection. The transmitter is suitable for measuring gas or liquid, and a combination of both is also possible.

The DE44 operates with two piezo elements. Pressure changes result in a change in voltage across the variable resistance bridge. These analog signals are processed through an A/D converter and sent to a microchip, which controls two relays, a digital display, and an analog 4-20 mA output. The sensors have a range of 0..4 mbar to 0..100 mbar and -2.5..2.5 mbar to -60..60 mbar.

Applicability

The DE44 from Fischer is ideal for building automation applications, such as ventilation systems, climate control, and air handling systems. Additionally, it is used for draft measurements in chimneys and for monitoring filters and vacuum systems.
