We have expanded our SpeedSys Overspeed Detection System (ODS) product line, to further advance our speed protection capabilities, developing the SpeedSys® ODS Cabinet.
By integrating multiple SpeedSys 300 modules into a single solution, the SpeedSys Cabinet enables fast and reliable deployment in demanding industrial environments. The system provides precise overspeed, underspeed and acceleration detection, helping to protect (critical) rotating machinery. It is designed for a wide range of applications, including compressors, pumps and turbines. SpeedSys is trusted by leading OEMs and system integrators worldwide for its fast response time, rigorous safety and compact and modular design.
Features
The SpeedSys® ODS Cabinet supports flexible voting configurations, including 2oo3 architectures, enabling compliance with demanding safety requirements. The system offers SIL 3 certified protection and a fast hardware response time, ensuring reliable machine shutdown when needed. Delivered fully assembled, with all modules mounted and wired by Istec specialists, the cabinet enables straightforward installation and reduces engineering effort on site. Integrated terminals enable common connections such as power supply and voting simplify wiring and minimize installation time. You can also expand the setup with a SpeedSys T30 monitor, to allow for monitoring, scale up relays, and communication.
The cabinet is available for wall mount, flush mount and 19 inch rack installation, allowing flexible integration into both new and existing installations.
Simple replacements
The SpeedSys® ODS Cabinet offers a practical replacement solution for existing overspeed protection systems, including Woodward ProTech-GII installations. Replacement projects can be executed with minimal downtime, helping to reduce operational impact.
