We’re pleased to welcome Angel Padilla, our new Business Development Engineer for Germany. He is based in North-Rhine Westphalia. He will focus on developing and further strengthening relationships with industrial companies across Germany. In working closely with OEMs, integrators and end users, he will allow them to improve their machine reliability and maintenance strategies.
Technical expertise with customer insights
Angel combines a technical background in electrical engineering and embedded systems with international experience in IT consulting. This enables him to understand both the technology behind Istec’s solutions and the practical challenges customers face when implementing them. “My role at Istec brings both sides together,” Angel explains. “I understand the products down to the terminal, while also helping customers put that technology to work.”
Close to the Ruhr
North Rhine-Westphalia is home to a high concentration of industrial plants and rotating machinery. Having a Business Development Engineer based in the region enables Istec to engage more directly with local companies and support projects from an earlier stage. “Customers want someone who can visit the site, understand the machine and be involved long before a turnaround,” Angel says. “I want to be that local contact, working closely with our partners and customers.”

Germany has always been an important market for Istec. Expanding the team locally underlines the company’s long-term commitment to the country and supports closer collaboration with partners and customers. A stronger local presence enables Istec to engage more directly with the industries it serves, better understand regional challenges and continue providing the high level of support customers expect.
