As an Account Manager at Istec, you play a key role in building, maintaining, and strengthening existing customer relationships in the Rotterdam and Antwerp regions. You will regularly visit your accounts to identify and create sales opportunities while also establishing new customer relationships through inbound marketing leads.
What will you do?
For the past 50 years, Istec has built a strong customer base and reputation in the Netherlands and Belgium. Customers choose us for our expertise in vibration and speed measurements, along with the associated service activities. Our goal is to maintain and expand this position in the Rotterdam and Antwerp regions.
As an Account Manager, you are not only a technical advisor but also a connector who builds and nurtures strong relationships. You understand what customers need and gain their trust through a personal approach.
Your key responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand customer relationships by providing timely and comprehensive information about our products and services and proposing new opportunities.
- Identify customer project planning to detect new service opportunities and initiate relevant service activities.
- Provide technical and organizational support to customers. As a technical frontrunner, we guide our clients, and they rely on our expertise. Your role is to understand their applications and challenges and provide the right advice.
- Act as the first point of contact for new customers.
- Uphold our strong reputation for fast, reliable, and high-quality support.
- Identify customer trends and market needs and communicate these internally.
Your profile
You are a relationship-driven professional with a strong interest in technology and industry.
- You have a technical or technical-commercial education background.
- 2–10 years of experience in a (technical) commercial role (medior level).
- Strong commercial skills.
- Passion for technology and industry.
- Excellent communication skills: fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) and comfortable communicating in English.
- A Category B driver’s license.
