Partner Account Manager

As a partner account manager at Istec, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding our international distribution partner network. You are the direct link between our organization and distributors worldwide. With a hands-on commercial mindset and good interpersonal skills, you actively build and maintain productive relationships while driving results. In your role as partner account manager, you will be part of the business development team.
What will you do?
Istec is transitioning from distributing and integrating third-party products in local markets to supplying our own line of products globally. Over the past three years, we’ve established a network of 18 distributors worldwide. Looking ahead, we aim to continue supporting these partners while gradually growing our network to 100 qualified distribution partners by 2035.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in achieving this goal by contributing in the following ways:
- Manage distributor relationships: Serve as the main point of contact, building strong connections with distributors to understand their needs and address their challenges
- Drive performance and growth: Monitor and analyze distributor performance, provide support to drive growth
- Equip and support distributors: Host training sessions and webinars with our specialists, maintain distributor resources and support materials to help the effective promotion of our products
- Develop partner network: Identify, onboard and cultivate new distributors and partners to expand our global presence
Your profile
We are looking for a partner account manager with a combination of commercial, technical and interpersonal skills. Your profile:
- A strong relationship builder; skilled in communication, relationship management and comfortable in international conversations with awareness of cultural differences
- Mindset for commerce and business
- Technical understanding and interest
- Organized and result-driven
- A confident communicator, proficient in delivering presentations in fluent English. (Other languages: Dutch preferred, additional languages are a plus)
- Educated at HBO (or equivalent) level
